Who the hell likes to go to school? I am sure that’s an easy question to answer, as I am quite positive that the number is relatively low. I hated my school from the bottom of my heart. Not a single day went by without me crying in the morning with my mom pulling at my entangled hair to straighten it while struggling to cook breakfast at the same time.

It’s not that I hated studies, I disliked having  a routine in life. I like consistency in many forms, but waking up at 6:30 AM, getting ready, wearing the ugliest-ass school uniform, eating breakfast on the go, and doing the same shit all over

again made me feel like a moronic machine with no brains. I was a moron with literally no brains. Would you believe that I failed in every subject? Not because I was not good in my studies, but because I had no excitement or thrill for learning.

The reason: BAD TEACHERS. OMG!

I stopped counting the number of slaps I used to get on my face. Yeah, unlike today, every teacher at that time had the right to hit students without worrying about getting into any kind of lawsuit.

I had a total of 5 teachers slapping me 5 times a day and they did so for about 11 years. You do the math!

If any girl from St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, India has failed in every subject for 13 consecutive years and has broken my record, I sincerely want to meet her. I want to tell her that one day she will end up mentoring many students at one of the most sought after schools in New York City with a stable career like mine.

Nobody can teach you, you have to learn through observation.
